CARES Mentor-Recruitment Affiliates are local coalitions of leaders and everyday people who love and believe in our children and know that the status quo must be changed. Local CARES Mentor-Recruitment Affiliates recruit the volunteers needed in their community to ensure that every child who needs a mentor is paired with a caring adult who wants to help a youngster succeed. The local CARES Mentor-Recruitment Affiliate brings leaders from all segments of the community—religious, business, fraternal, collegiate together to encourage and prod their constituents to devote four hours a month to at-risk young people in the community.

CARES Mentor-Recruitment Affiliates are the models of the cooperative, visionary leadership needed to transform our community and country. Wherever our children are suffering and losing ground, the National CARES Mentoring Movement seeks to establish a CARES Mentor-Recruitment Affiliate.
